Provided the item(s) you have ordered are in stock, we endeavour to despatch your models as soon as practicably possible. In most cases, this would be the next working day, but this may slip to the following day at times of extremely high levels of business. If there is likely to be a protracted delay, for whatever reason, we will do our utmost to contact you and inform you of the situation.
Payment will be requested immediately prior to dispatch.
PRE-ORDERED ITEMS (BACK ORDERS) CANCELATION & REFUND TERMS OF CONTRACT
For the very many collectors who like to pre-order their model requirements, we will be happy to place your items on back order. Payment for these items will only be taken when the item(s) come into stock. At this time, we reserve the right to take payment for your items and arrange for dispatch or hold your model if part of multi-model order. We will NOT charge your nominated credit/debit card until your items are accepted into stock at Flying Tigers.
You may cancel all or part of your order within 14 days of your order without charge.
Pre-ordered models that have arrived and have been pre-paid for by PayPal, or payment by credit/debit card, and are subsequently cancelled by the customer after 14 days, will be refunded to the customer LESS a £20.00 per model administration / re-stocking fee (or 20% of the total order value, excluding postage cost, whichever is the higher)
Pre-ordered models that have not arrived at Flying Tigers may be cancelled by the customer after 14 days, but will incur a charge to the customer of £10.00 per model administration / re-stocking fee (or 10% of the total order value, excluding postage cost, whichever is the higher).
If, unless previously agreed in writing, pre-ordered models that have arrived at Flying Tigers remain unpaid for a period of 3 months from the date of arrival, Flying Tigers reserves the right to cancel ALL pre-ordered models made by that customer. The models will be put back to stock and a re-stocking fee of £10.00 per model (or 10% of the total order value, excluding postage cost, whichever is the higher) will be charged to the customer by Flying Tigers.
For customers who have cancelled pre-orders in the past, Flying Tigers reserves the right to request payment in full prior to accepting new pre-ordered models with a £10.00 re-stocking charge per model (or 10% of the total order value, excluding postage cost, whichever is the higher) upon any further cancellation.
In the case of dramatically increased sales volumes (particularly in the case of commissioned models), due to the increase in business volumes and despatch requirements, we may request payment slightly in advance of the products arrival. This would be to act on any problems or queries (credit card expiry dates etc) and to simply process the increased business volumes. Wherever possible, we will give prior notification of our intentions both on the Breaking News section of our website and in the weekly Aviation Newsletter.
DELIVERY, AVAILABILTY AND RETURN POLICY
As mentioned previously, we endeavour to process orders as expediently as practicable, but we are unable to apply exact timescales in case we are subject to factors outside of our control.
All of our products and services are subject to availability and may be altered, or withdrawn at any time. As we intend serving large numbers of home and international collectors, there may be times when an item moves from a stock position to an out of stock position, at a time when the website is not manned.
If, for whatever reason we are unable to supply goods in this situation, you will not be charged and we will contact you at the earliest opportunity. In the extremely unlikely event of a payment already being made, this will be refunded immediately.
Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible in this instance and compensation will NOT be paid for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
If faulty, broken or incorrect goods are received or items are missing from your order, Flying Tigers should be notified via email within 24hrs of receipt of models. Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing from parcel.
Flying Tigers will email you with instructions on how to return any faulty, broken or incorrect goods.
If the model is faulty or broken, a refund for the price of the model and postage will be made as soon as the goods have been returned to and received by Flying Tigers.
If incorrect goods were sent to the Buyer, Flying Tigers will arrange collection of the incorrect items free of charge and replace with the correct item free of any charge including postage. If this is not possible, a full refund will be made including return postage paid.
Missing items from your order will be sent to the buyer free of any charge to the buyer.
Please note we operate a 14 Days returns policy from date of purchase (Date of receipt of goods).
Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrong goods ordered, model not liked by the customer, or change of mind) must be received by Flying Tigers in New, Unused condition and with no damage. In order to return goods you must email Flying Tigers within 14 days from receipt. The return postage will NOT be refunded. A full refund for model amount and outgoing postage shall be refunded on receipt of returned goods.
RECEIVING YOUR ITEMS
It is extremely important to us that your models reach you in the best possible condition and every care is taken whilst packing your items. As collectors ourselves, we realize the importance of receiving your model in the condition it left the factory and although we do not break any seals on you models, we will make a visual inspection prior to packing. This will highlight all but the most obscure of problems, but will ensure that your models leave us in top condition.
We also use high grade packing materials and professional delivery services to ensure that these standards are carried through to you receiving your items. We are confident that these measures will lead to a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Please take care when opening your parcel. As you know, these items can contain delicate parts.
