The VC-25A SAM 2900 has reportedly completed its final official-duty flight, returning President Trump from the G7 conference after 40 years of service across seven U.S. presidents and countless miles worldwide. The aircraft primarily served as a backup aircraft for SAM 2800
While SAM 2900 will be retired her sistership, SAM 2800, is expected to remain in service as backup aircraft for the donated VC-25B until the VC-25Bs enter operation.
To commemorate this milestone, InFlight 200 will release limited-edition models featuring the new magnetic undercarriage. The SAM 2900 model will include a retirement coin, and the SAM 2800 model will also include a collector’s coin.
