After the collapse of Balkan Bulgarian Airlines in 2002, Bulgaria Air was founded in the same year as the new national airline for the southeastern European country. Today, it operates a mixed fleet of short- and medium-haul Embraer E190, A220 and A320 Family aircraft. The latter currently include four A320s, which are often used in charter operations on holiday flights throughout Europe and the Middle East. After the announcement of the large model in 1:100 scale, a version in a smaller 1:200 scale now follows, also as part of the Herpa SnapFit series. A display stand is included.
