The Embraer E175 is one of the most popular feeder aircraft in the United States. No less than 685 of the 780 E175s produced to date are operated by US regional carriers. 235 E175s alone, most with the larger “enhanced winglets”, are operated under the American Eagle brand for parent company American Airlines. The E175 was initially equipped with the same slim style of winglets as the rest of the E-Jet family. Starting in 2014, the winglets were made noticeably wider and more angled, improving efficiency and reducing fuel consumption compared to older aircraft without these enhanced winglets by more than 6%. Herpa SnapFit models can be assembled in a few simple steps without glue or other tools. A display stand is included.
