The Embraer E175 is one of the most popular feeder aircraft in the United States. No less than 685 of the 780 E175s produced to date are operated by US regional carriers. 247 of these alone fly under the United Express brand. They are operated by independent airlines Mesa Airlines, Skywest Airlines and Republic Airlines which are contracted by United Airlines to serve smaller cities and connect traffic to United’s main hubs. The E175 was initially equipped with the same slim style of winglets as the rest of the E-Jet family. Starting in 2014, the winglets were made noticeably wider and more angled, improving efficiency and reducing fuel consumption compared to older aircraft without these enhanced winglets by more than 6%. Herpa SnapFit models can be assembled in a few simple steps without glue or other tools. A display stand is included.
