As part of a major overhaul of their brand, Icelandair unveiled a new livery in early 2022. Gone are the previously blue belly and the yellow engines. But the new livery also brings colour to the fleet: five variable rear colours are intended to symbolise Iceland’s natural phenomena. One of the first 737 Max in the new design and now also part of the Herpa SnapFit range is TF-ICY with a yellow stripe on the tail, in this case symbolizing the sun’s rays reflected by waterfalls and glaciers.
