Edelweiss flies from Zurich to over 90 holiday destinations worldwide. To ensure that the multi-award-winning Swiss airline can continue to ensure that the most beautiful time of the year begins with the flight, Edelweiss Air is investing in an extensive modernization of its long-haul fleet. From 2025, the entry into the fleet of a total of six Airbus A350s will begin. In addition to a quieter cabin and more comfort for passengers, the new long-haul aircraft consume around 25% less kerosene and emit around a quarter less CO2 than the A340s they replace. This first A350 is named after the highest mountain in the canton of Graubünden and, at 4048 metres, the only 4000-metre peak in the Eastern Alps: the Piz Bernina.
