The E195-E2 is configured by the Brazilian airline Azul in a uniform one-class seating for 136 passengers and is intended for regional and domestic flights on routes that are too under-frequented for larger jets such as the Airbus A320 but too busy for turboprop aircraft such as the ATR-72s, which are also used by Azul. True to the tradition of giving its aircraft – often quite imaginative and entertaining – christening names associated with the color blue (azul in Portuguese), this twelfth of currently no less than 44 locally built Embraer E195-E2s operated by the Brazilian airline represents the beginning of the alphabet: A for Azul, B for Brazil. A display stand is included.
