The life of the small Belgian regional company Air Antwerp, which started on 9 September 2019 and is based in Antwerp, lasted only briefly. Just two years later, it had to finally cease flight operations in June 2021, after it had already interrupted it several times due to a lack of passenger traffic during the corona pandemic. The only aircraft in the fleet was a single Fokker 50, which it used between Antwerp and London City Airport, an important route for diamond and commodity traders.
