Herpa 1/400th scale 562843 CSA Czech Airlines Airbus A220-300. Available to pre-order at Flying Tigers.
In 2024, CSA came to an end as an independent airline. After financial difficulties, it had operated a single A320 on a single route (Prague-Paris) a year earlier. For the CSA, which was founded in 1923, there is still a future, at least visually. The remaining A320s, as well as four new A220s, which have been gradually arriving since November 2024, will be operated by former competitor Smartwings under the CSA brand and livery. OK-FYD is the fourth and currently last of these brand-new aircraft to enter service, giving this once large and renowned airline a future, albeit a smaller one. After the announcements in the scales 1:500 (Art.Nr. 538640) and 1:200 (Art.Nr. 573740), this Czech A220 now also appears as a limited novelty in 1:400 scale. A small display stand is included.
