The A330 MRTT is a very versatile aircraft suitable for aerial refuelling, medical evacuation, as well as for transporting cargo and personnel. Ten examples have so far been delivered to NATO’s “Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet” (MMF). Two more for this aircraft pool are to follow. All tanker aircraft are registered as part of the Dutch Armed Forces and are deployed from Eindhoven Air Base. The seven nations currently participating are: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and the Czech Republic.
