A 35-year chapter has come to an end: with a special flight from Frankfurt to Vienna on November 5, 2025, the era of the Boeing 757 ended at the German leisure airline. This began in 1990 with the delivery of the first Boeing 757-200. Until the end of October, six examples of the stretched version 757-300 were still in service. Among these was D-ABOM, which had received the current paint job in January 2023, in this case with the unmistakable stripes in “Passion Red”. The 757-300 has already been released on a scale of 1:500 in “Iceland Green”, “Sunshine Yellow” and “Sea Blue”. This novelty now completes the small series.
