Model Description
Herpa 1/500th scale 538404 Boeing 737 Max 10. Available to pre-order at Flying Tigers.
Hardly any other aircraft has such a permanent presence in the headlines in recent years as Boeing’s 737 Max family. Two crashes and numerous problems with the newly developed software and in series production led to long delays. After far-reaching structural changes in all processes, from development, production to management, Boeing has now largely managed the turnaround. As of August 2025, well over 1,900 units are already in use worldwide. Loyal Boeing customers such as United Airlines urged the manufacturer to develop a counterpart to the Airbus A321neo. The result is the 737 Max 10, the longest variant of the new Max family at 43.8 metres, with capacity for a maximum of 230 passengers in a one-class layout. The largest buyer with 167 units is United Airlines in the order books, which wants to replace its Boeing 757 fleet with the Max 10 variant. So far, however, approval is still pending, which is now (as of August 2025) to take place in 2026. Until then, two aircraft in Boeing’s distinctive factory colours, including N27751, are tirelessly flying test flights in order to finally achieve certification and to be able to start production and delivery of the more than 800 orders currently on the table.
