With years of experience in serving the die-cast aviation collector, placing orders with Flying Tigers could not be easier. We have made a few changes recently, but all with the aim of providing the best possible service for our collectors. Our payment options have been updated in line with current legislation and we now use a service provided by SagePay and you will be taken to this payment screen when finalising your order. The benefits for Flying Tigers collectors are :
- Totally secure payment option
- Card details are not captured
- Debit and Credit card payments are accepted
- Payment pre-authorisation only – payment is only taken until we have checked every aspect of your order.
- Continous Authority allows us to take your credit card payment on Pre-Order models, when and as your models come into stock, either to dispatch straight away OR to be consolidated with your other model pre-orders to be dispatched at a later date upon your instructions. You will notice that a payment of £0.01 (one penny) will show on your credit card as a confirmation that your pre-order has been successfully registered with Flying Tigers. Your payment for your model(s) will not be taken until they are in stock at Flying Tigers and available for dispatch.
The last feature is important for our collectors. When you place your order, we still have the flexibility to claim only the correct amount required for the sale, even though the full figure has been pre-authorised by your bank. If we can save you money on postage, we certainly will do and only charge you the lower figure, and we will consolidate your orders to save you on postage costs.
We still offer the extremely convenient Paypal payment option for our collectors, which is becoming more and more popular. Again, before we process the order, if we can save you money on postage, or if items are out of stock, we will refund any excess monies. As the Paypal system assumes that every item ordered is a stock item and charges you accordingly, please DO NOT use Paypal when pre-ordering models if you do not want your PayPal payment taken before the model comes into stock.
