A new addition in 1:500 scale is this Tibet Airlines A319neo in two respects: this novelty is the first model of the airline, which was founded in 2010, and at the same time the first A319neo from Herpa. This smallest member of the A320neo Family allows the operation of very high-altitude airports, such as those currently found in the Tibet region: all airports are located at higher than 3,500 meters above sea level. In addition to the nine A3190neo currently on stand, with five more on order, Tibet Airlines operates 27 additional A319-100s, six A320s and five A330s, most of which operate within China. Long-haul connections to Finland or Russia were discontinued after a short time. For example, connections to Kathmandu in Nepal and the Thai holiday island of Koh Samui currently remain as the only international destinations.
