With the entry into service of this first A321neo in September 2024, the Dutch airline will begin the modernization of its medium-haul fleet. All Boeing 737s are to be successively replaced by more efficient aircraft from the Airbus A320neo family. This first of thirteen A321neo will initially be used on flights to Copenhagen, Berlin and Stockholm. PH-AXA is named after the butterfly; Employees had spoken out in favour of naming the A321neo fleet, with which the transformation of the fleet begins, after butterflies.
