Herpa 1/200th scale 571333 CSA Czechoslovak Airlines Ilyushin IL-18 – OK-PAH. Available to pre-order at Flying Tigers.
From 1960, the national airline of Czechoslovakia used a total of twelve IL-18s on routes within Europe, but also on long-haul routes to Havana, New York and Montreal. The model appears in the colour variant with which the original was put into service in 1962. Since the “feathers” of the stylised bird were placed quite low below the window, they were often referred to as “vousy”, the Czech word for beard.
