Germany's huge technological lead in jet propulsion produced the 'Peoples Fighter', which was designed to be flown by inexperienced pilots against the huge allied bomber streams. Due to serious material shortages, the Salamander was made almost entirely of wood, but was just a case of too little, too late! Fantastic model of this diminutive late war German jet fighter!
